Kanchanaburi province, in western Thailand, is known for its national parks of dense jungle, waterfalls and limestone caves. Other items of interest include an ordination hall with a beautiful of Thai architectural style and a pagoda measuring 69 metres tall and 29 metres wide, where visitors can walk or take an elevator to the top to view the lake and Vajiralongkorn Dam.
