Huay Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary
The place covers the areas of Lan Sak, Huay Kot and Ban Rai Districts, having the total area of 1,737,587 rai.
It is pronounced by UNESCO to be the worlds’ Natural Heritage on December 13, 1991. the flora has the feature of thick rain forest and deciduous forest. There are many kind of conservation wildlife such as: wild buffaloes, tapirs, red hornbills etc.
The tourists can walk to see the forest and study the nature by the helpof the forestry officers to guide the way and protect them for safety.
It is the 13th Bridge that crosses over the Chao Phraya River, This bridge was build from the idea of H.M.KING BHUMIBOL ADULYADEJ, King rama IX presented to the Bangkok metropolitan administration in 1995 That an additional bridge crossing over the Chao phraya river should be built to support the increasing of traffic which was generate from the parallel Borommaratchachonnani road,and also to support more transportations between Bangkok side and Thon buri side.
The Construction was started in 1998 and took 24 months to complete, the total amount of budget utilized in designing and constructing of the bridge is amounted to 3,170 millions bath. Continue reading “Rama VIII Bridge Bangkok”
